Now still it is impossible to assert that to a science the true reasons of ageing of the person are known. Meanwhile for the answer to this question search from time immemorial: after all in effect everyone thinks sooner or later of this problem. Throughout many tens years gerontologists - the experts who are taking up the issue of ageing, put forward a number of concepts and theories for an explanation of mechanisms of ageing. But these theories remain accessible to only certain circle of experts whereas results of similar scientific workings out are of interest for everyone. This circumstance first of all also has formed the basis for a writing of the given book. The scientific materials put in its basis, were developed by the author more than thirty years. However their main result can be formulated rather short: at higher organisms, including the person, ageing is directly connected with the development mechanism, namely the same factors which provide organism development, continue to operate and after its end, being simultaneously and the reason leading to ageing.
